Jay Maller is a founder and Chief Executive Officer of EcoMail and sits on its Board of Directors. In his role as CEO, Jay is responsible for the strategic direction of the firm. Jay has more than 35 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to founding EcoMail, Jay was a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley, leading product development and process engineering for their multi-billion dollar prime brokerage business. Earlier in his career, Jay was the Chief Technology Officer for Odyssey Partners, an industry-leading hedge fund and a Managing Director at Security Pacific National Bank (now Bank of America) in their debt strategy group. Jay is also a serial entrepreneur, having founded In-Touch Technologies, a company that revolutionized movie theater ticket and concession sales systems to meet the demands of large multiplex theaters.

How do you enjoy spending your time outside the office?

Spending time with my wife, my family, my friends, and my dogs.

What are you most passionate about with your work?

I love finding new ways to do things, I like to say I have never met a process I couldn’t improve.

I once owned a 1975 Triumph TR6 that I restored to mint condition.

Vaske Progri is the Vice President of Business Development and sits on its Board of Directors. Vaske joined Eco-Mail in 2020.   Prior to joining Eco-Mail, Vaske started his career at Oracle as a Business Development Consultant working with Fortune 500 companies.  After Oracle, Vaske spent an additional five years at Deluxe, a leading financial technology company where he was an Account Executive.  There he was responsible for aligning treasury strategies for many financial institutions throughout the United States.

Vaske’s passions include spending time with his family, traveling and community involvement.  As part of his community involvement, Vaske served as the youngest co-chair person for the AANO (Albanian-American National Organization), a 75 year old organization designed to further the education of Albanian Americans in the United States through scholarships.

What are you most passionate about with your work?

I love working with clients and solving their needs.  I always say your responsibility in sales is to be a voice and a representative for your client within your own company.

If you had to choose another occupation, what would it be?

When I was younger, I always wanted to be a professional soccer player.

Who was your hero growing up?

My parents were very influential in my upbringing, and I always looked up to my mom and dad as they brought us here as immigrants and really tried to accomplish the American dream while providing my brother and I with all the opportunities we could never have imagined.

What do you most enjoy about tech?

I love the fact that you have the ability to change the way the future looks and enable people to make complicated processes more simplistic through artificial intelligence and machine learning.
